Books & Educational Resources

While there is not a physical Camp Library that members can visit & check out books from, a number of us have read numerous written works that provide accurate information and a true history of the Confederacy, it's leaders, military, and government. The following is a list of books that we encourage our members to read. These books can be purchased from many great retail stores, and some can be bought from the SCV Online Store.

***ESSENTIAL READING***
[The following books listed in deep red are books considered some of the most essential educational resources for those interested in learning the TRUE HISTORY of the War Between The States. While it is true that "the winners write the history books," this country still permits freedom of speech (for the most part). Since you're not likely to find these books in your college library or have them recommended by your liberal history professor, we're compiling this list for the benefit of those interested in reading the factual account of history. These books can be purchased from many great retail stores, and some can be bought from the SCV Online Store.]
